Best Actor Under 18: Kobe Humphries
Six-year-old Joey wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Or maybe a firefighter. But his parents tell him that instead they're raising him to be a soldier, and kill people. When Joey protests that he doesn't want to kill people, they explain that he'll only be killing people in other countries, and only the ones wearing uniforms. Innocently, Joey asks "What if they take the uniforms off?" His persistent parents go on to explain that we only kill people whose countries are on "The List"—but also that he doesn't need to worry about it, because The List will be different by the time he grows up.
Will Joey's optimism and innocence prevail, or will he finally take on his parents' attitude and accept the BB gun his mother is pushing on him so he can practice getting into the killing mindset?
